52100 Bearing Steel: Originally designed for ball bearings, this steel provides excellent wear resistance and high fatigue life combined with low corrosion risk. Blades are forging then quenched three times for high performance. 1% carbon, .30% silicon, .35% manganese, 1.45% chromium.

1095 Hi-Carbon Steel: Used for forging blades. .90% - 1.04% carbon, .60%-.90% manganese.

440C Stainless Steel: High-carbon chromium stainless steel that resists corrosion from fresh water, steam, crude oil, gasoline, stains from food acids and fruit, The excellent wear resistance qualities of 440C make it a natural choice of knifemakers. 1% chromium, .45% manganese, .3% silicon, 17% chromium, .50% molybdenum.

CPM 154 Stainless Steel: This is a high performance stainless steel. Holds a superior edge. Blade will be cryo tempered at 58/60 Rockwell hardness. 1.05% carbon, .50% manganese, .30% silicon, 14% chromium, and 4% molybdenum. Price needs to be quoted. $150 extra.

Nickel Silver Option: Nickel silver for guards and pummels are less subject to staining than brass and hold their luster longer than brass.
