Hand Crafting Knives
All my knives are made from scratch using raw materials. Customers can choose high carbon tool steel or stainless steel. A stock removal method is used to grind the blades shape. I can also forge a blade using 52100 bearing steel or 1095 steel, which produces a tougher blade and edge retention. Flat or hollow grinding is done freehand. Blades are polished to a mirror finish. The guards are solid brass or nickel silver and silver soldered to the blade. The handle material is formed from a wide variety of natural or man made materials such as micarta, iron wood, and antler, which gives a comfortable feel and balance. Leather sheathes are hand cut, stitched and fitted to each knife.

This classic Loveless drop point hunter was forged from 52100 ball bearing steel triple quenched in oil with the forging marks left on the spine of the blade. A very trendy look and makes for a high performance knife
Knife styles are for hunters, fishermen, outdoorsmen, and the chef in the kichen
This fillet knife is made from an old cross saw bade discovered in Northern Michigan. Saw blades have a nickel content for added toughness as a saw. I do not heat treat these fine blades, but hand grind them to a fish fillet style. This blade will stay sharp far longer than a stainless steel store bought knife.
